Welcome Back!

Public celebrations of Mass at St. Helena will reopen to the public starting with the 8:00 AM Mass on Saturday, June 6. Moreover, letters inviting the parishioners back to Mass were mailed this Friday. You will also find the digital version of the letter at the bottom of this page.

Msgr. Trinh mentioned in his letter how St. Helena’s staff and volunteers have been busy making renovations and sanitizing the church. He also listed the guidelines that need to be observed to keep everyone safe during gatherings – including the importance of proper hygiene, wearing face masks, and social distancing as well as the procedures in entering and exiting the church, seating arrangements, and how to receive Holy Communion while maintaining safe distance. Finally, volunteers are needed to sanitize the church after every Mass. Please read the letter carefully before heading back to Mass.

The obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation remains lifted. So, if you are uncomfortable to come back to Mass, an elderly, sick, or with underlying medical conditions, continue praying at home and/or join us at Mass virtually.

Daily and Sunday Mass will follow our regular schedule. Hearing of Confessions is also back to its normal schedule. If you need a refresher, please see USCCB’s resources on the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
