Philadelphia has moved into the green phase on July 3, 2020. The faithful continues to be dispensed from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation but are strongly encouraged to to keep the Lord’s day with prayer and reflection, and when possible, watching an online celebration of Mass.
Those who are sick or with high risk health conditions are not to come to church.
Mass schedule at St. Helena has been restored to its regular schedule with some location adjustments to give volunteers enough time to sanitize the pews after every Mass. Confession times are also back to normal.
We will continue to live stream our Vietnamese and Spanish Masses on Sundays; and you may view the English Mass from the Cathedral. Like our Facebook page to get weekly reminders of the live streamed Masses.
Social distancing between members of different households should still be observed.
Face masks must be worn while in church, except for the reception of Holy communion.
Please see the complete guidelines on returning to Mass.
Beginning March 18, 2020, ALL public Masses in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and St. Helena’s parish activities are suspended until further notice. Please refer to the parish calendar on the left regarding the schedule for private prayer, Adoration, and Sunday Mass online broadcast.
